«SEPARATION»

25 pieces - portraits (acrylic Fiberboard tablets) with a size of 25 - 25 fixed on one plate size 160 - 180 My picture is an echo of the current situation in the world, namely the pandemic of Covid 19. Definitely the world of art immediately responded to this, and many artists conveyed their impressions in different ways. The problems that came with the virus brought a lot of trouble to people and this blacklist is endless. My reaction as an artist is the creation of complex artwork that conveys one of the most important problems that has completely covered the whole planet – SEPARATION. Separation in everything! The whole world is paused, without any knowledge of when it will end, how it will end and what kind of outcome humanity will wait for. The result was immediate - millions of people were stuck in quarantine, many lost their work, businesses burned out, many families were separated, so many people were killed by the virus, but how many more people did not receive the necessary treatment because there is a “barrier” everywhere.  So many things were lost in the spring of 2020 .... the list is very long and every item is very important for humanity, independently of nationality, status, religion or other differences - we are prisoners at home and cannot move. My picture reflects the global division of the planet into separate pieces-countries and reminds how important it is for people to be able to contact and how difficult it is to be isolated. More Info
